looks good man but im curious as to what the purpose of those bumper tabs are?
Thanks man, I think they have something to do with the placement of the exhaust in both the 4 cyl and V6? I think?

Seems everyone I've asked can guess, but no one's ever positive.
i've never notice them but looking at the before and after it makes a big different. good job!
haha thanks dude, I actually photoshopped my car first to see what it would look like and then I decided to go ahead and do it when I got up this morning.
Thats funny,

my girlfriends 99' was rear ended and the shop put a 01-02 rear bumper on.

The reason I know is because it has those tabs lol
I told her that and she was like
Exactly man, this afternoon my friend was like "I don't see it, why are you doing this again" and I was like *smack*
Every time you do something to your car, its clean man. Nice minor modification.
Thanks man, that's really nice of you to say that.
I was going to do this years ago before the WW lip kit, and would have done it if I didn't get the kit. Way to come up with it and actually do it and post it! It looks great. What next to make your car look even cleaner? Is it even possible!? :run:
haha you were? great minds think alike man.

:lawl: also there's two clues in your sig actually.

yyeeessss.
You get the credit for suggesting I do it in the first place Andy

looks a lot nicer, now I need to go and see if I have those tabs so I can cut them too lol
haha yeah, are they on the coupe bumpers too? I'm not even sure.

mmh.....tabless. nice. good work.

i think if you had use a dremel it wouldnt cause the paint to flake. i dunno..just my opinion. ill try that someday.
Well I mean it didn't flake that much, it just looked like it was chewed up along the edges were I cut because I used a hacksaw. I actually tried my dremel on something similar when cutting my lip and I don't think mine is able to handle cutting that much plastic in one go. The disc blade I used eventually exploded from prolonged use, surprised the hell out of me :skurred:
Yeah I've been wanting to do this for awhile I just never get around to it lol
just go out and do it tomorrow dude :lawl:

looks much better. are you worried about the paint peeling / flaking away from the bottom up though now that you've got those off and there isn't a sealed edge?
