Hey guys, im Paul from vancouver and i recently got a graduation present from my pops which is a 99' accord !. i use to drive a beat up ford focus so this accord is a big upgrade for me. The mods are 18' motegi rims, replica type r lip, jdm yellow bulbs for highbeams ( no pics yet) and white xenon? bulbs for the lowbeams and also 4 brand new 3 way speakers and a jvc deck. I listed some things that i will be getting when my wallet gets a little fatter :)

- yakima roof rack
- Rims powdercoated gold or bronze? which do you guys think goes with heather mist? with silver lip.
- some lowering springs that ill prolly run with stock shocks/struts.
- Jdm black housing headlights
-Jdm red and clear tailights.
and possibly a spoiler

Some pics, they were too big so it didnt let me upload sorry !

Welcome and nice start! Your modification list looks promising except lower your car right the first time, it will save you time and money in the long run - trust me - I've been working on my accord for 6 years and I've had to redo everything a lot due to not doing it right the 1st time.

When you are in the market for lowering springs - Look for aftermarket struts/shocks that are designed to be matched with lowering springs. Your stock struts/shocks are not meant to be used for lowering - trust me I had Eibach pro-kit springs (1.5 inch drop) on stock struts/shocks and I blew them all out and the ride was crap. Now I have full coilovers. Lets just say I wish I would have gotten full coilovers to begin with.

Aftermarket headlights don't necessarily have the same great qualty as our OEM "stanley" headlights from the factory. So look into black housing your OEM ones. If you are set on buying aftermarket black housed headlights please make sure you check the seal and add more sealant to the lights where it might look like it might not be sealed correctly.

Both gold and bronze wheels IMO would look great on heather mist and an easy modification would be doing the intake modification that is posted in the DIY section. Don't forget to use the search button because chances are any questions you need answered have already been answered in countless other threads.

Good luck and happy modding!

Congratulations on graduating and nice photography skills!

yeah good start, and as for suspension do it right the first time= no headaches and wasting money... might i recommend the infamous Ksport lowering springs (150ish) paired with some Tokico HP struts (300ish), its what ill be running soon (laws) many people have it and you wont rub (so i am told).

yeah suspension is one of the most expensive yet practical things you can do for your car (even more than wheels), whether its for looks or for professional use, it can make or break a car alone.

good luck and happy modding
