Ok, so I've got all my parts and got the tranny out last nite.....ran the shifter cable, installed shifter....today im gonna put the pedals in, master cylinder, clutch hard line, slave cylinder, and if i have time and ppl to help me out ill start putting the clutch on and mounting the tranny back up there. Anybody know how much the dealer charges to program my key for my MT comp?

Call a mobile locksmith, they have a laptop that will plug into your ECU port and program your keys.

ooooo nice....i think i've got a prob tho...i've got a clutch pedal from a 5th gen accord does this mean that i have to get the master cylinder from a 5th gen?? cuz i've got my pedal on and its basically pressed down to the floor and wont come back up because the cylinder is depressed and thats the highest it comes up.....

so im pretty much done and i still cant get any clutch pedal pressure.....i've bought a new slave....and new master cylinder and the line is brand new as well.....3 mechanics have come to my house and none could fix the prob so i've decided to put everything together and take it to a tranny specialist....but the earliest they can see it is tues :run: a 1 week project has become a 1 month project.

Dde I'm right there with ya I just put my engine back in the car today. This has turned into quite a clusterf**k. Gotta fill it all with fluids tomorrow and fire it up. Hope it runs right *crosses fingers*.

Installing the other components really doesn't take that much extra time, maybe a day extra at the most.
