Ok so some of you may already know that im currently running a 6speed using a 05 Accord 6spd Tranny. Sadly the Accord 6speed tranny doesnt come with LSD  I looked for parts and did some searching if there are any lsd on the market for the Accord 6spd but no luck at all. So I just wanted to know if there are any ways I can get lsd in the Accord tranny. I was thinking if its possible to get the lsd from the CL-S 6spd tranny and put it in the Accord Tranny??
Wish I had the money back than to get the CL-S tranny like "AllGOnoShow" did lol. But yeah I was a poor student with no $$ during the time and still am -_-
Anyways guys, it would be really great if any 6ga fellow members can help out. Thanks!

Its kool, but yeah it seems like 04accordcpe is the only person that ever did the lsd swap using CL-S tranny? Seems like he ran into some problem afterward.

You can drop the CL-S LSD into a 7GA 6spd, I know that. Just not sure of exactly how much work is involved, but I believe it is highly compatible.

Before I did my swap I debated whether I should get the accord 6spd or the CL-S 6spd trans. I can only say I'm very happy I ended spending the extra $400 on the acura Transmission.

It's kind of like lowering springs/shocks vs coilovers........coilovers are the better choice.

To the OP, not to rain on your dream, but what about selling the Accord 6spd, and opicking up the CL-S tranny?

May end up being less work/money involved in the long run, unless you do all the work yourself.

I've heard the quafe LSD works with the accord 6spd tranny.

Or you can go LTP, (limited Throttle Pressure) :)

But if you're just on stock J30, I don't really think LSD will make all that big of a difference if you jsut control it correctly

the LSD is in the diff, so to add it to your trans will require splitting it and replacing the diff. At that point you're paying the labor, so I'd probably just buy the parts and have them rebuild it with new synchros/bearings and have a "new" CL-S trans.

Taking apart a FWD manual is not terribly difficult, but you'll need some special tools, a shop press and adpaters to do the bearings. It's likely that you can just remove the diff and replace it with the LSD carrier, but you'll have to setup some backlash and such.
