I'm about to tackle this myself... I have two J32A2's chillin in my garage (lol) and a TL 6mt on its way, and I'll need all the help I can get with all the other misc parts and getting it put together. Take lots of pics! I'm sure the final write up will be immensely helpful.

Thanks. I admire your ambition in doing the swap yourself. Wish I had the time, tools, and a 2nd car. Yeah the plan is make this DIY fully documented for all future swaps to make it easy as can be for people.

Yeah I'll have mine there for someone to use. I'm thinking Rich will be doing heavy lifting, I'll be taking notes, & you could be on camera duty. Cooperation makes it happen. lol



Mounts should be delivered today, and I'm picking up the bulk parts at FedEx (had to request to hold at location since they were delivered to the wrong address).

I'm aiming to be there by around noon. So I'm gonna pack my **** tonight and get my *** in bed, so I can leave at like 7 or 7:30am. I'm terrible at getting up, lol.

It's not even my car and Im excited. This is like a 4 birds with 1 stone, lol. I get to see the car, meet the man behind the car, see the J32+6spd swap and I get to help document it. Im stoked. Im not stoked, however, about the 7-hour drive there and back, lol.

ugh I know. But I HAVE to get sleep, otherwise I will take forever to leave, and that's after I wake up late. lol Maybe I'll tranquilize myself...

It's brushed/nickel. Not sure what's making it look that way, my phone maybe. But I do know that brand new leather smells goooood.

The knob is actually smaller than I thought, but after I screwed it one of the CL-S shifters and played with it, it felt right. The touch of that knob will only be enhanced in the winter with my leather "driving gloves". Which are actually a pair of isotoners.
