Sweeeeeet! I love it!

You're right though... NO LED's.. :(

Order them from overseas!

Don't go soft on us Cody ;)

Lol no promises. That is on the list of things I'd change though... preliminary search the other night made it look like they'd be about $200, but I'm sure they could be found much cheaper.

Yellow fog bulbs are something that definitely has to get done though. IMO it's a must on a blue or white car.

I love the new 2012 Optimas! I'm very impressed on how much is changed with the Optima. If I were to buy a brand new car it definitely would be the new Optima as well. Congrats on the car!

Thanks man!

Looks great... Got enough buttons on the steering wheel? Hehe

holy indy car steering wheel batman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice car dude. I really like it considering I've never been to fond of kia's.

Thanks guys! I remember when I first heard of Kia around 1999 and didn't think they should count as real cars lol. A friend said the same about the wheel haha, it's actually really convenient. There's enough to cover what you want, but it doesn't feel busy or anything when you're driving.

drop, 19s and change the front grill and u're set :leeann:

interior looks pretty nice

Agree on drop + wheels, I like the grill though

Wow, looks great. Blue's my favorite color so that's a plus.

I love the rear, side profile, and interior. Not so much the front though.

But it's weak how they basically stole the BMW M fender vent.. it looks just about the same lol.

Yeah, like Chris says below, the new Taurus also has them. Definitely not their idea though lol

God that looks nice. I would take one of these over an 8GA or Camry, no question. I get what people are saying about the wheels, but for the styling on this car, imo they just work. The front treatment is sharp and unified, the chrome grille inlay is cool. If anything the foglights are a little big.

How are the seats Cody? And what does the "T-GDI" stand for?

Haha thanks man! I drove it over to my buddy's house on Sunday, I think he was a little stunned at how much he liked it. He's one of the guys who are taking a more cautious approach towards Kia / Hyundai. He bought a Camry not too long ago. Granted his car is also very nice and roomy inside, but imo looks pretty boring.

The seats are comfy - not as soft as the Taurus, can't remember how they'd compare to the Accord to be honest. I'll find out in 2 weeks how comfortable they are after 12 hours in them. I'd prefer if they were all leather, instead of having the mesh inlay though. I think the 2 tone looks nice, but I have dogs so I wonder if they will be more likely to snag. That's what dog covers are for though.

Justin beat me to it on the engine :ownedrun: lol

Turbo - Gasoline Direct Injection

The engine in this car is VERY similar to the one found in the Evo X and uses a DSM TD04 turbo.

I look forward to finding out more about how the engine behaves. I've been resisting getting on it until there's some more miles to break it in. On the beltway, it's nice how little effort it takes to cruise from 50-80mph though. Barely have to put the pedal down, and there's no downshifting or engine noise like my cars have always had to remind me how underpowered they are lol

had some fun

Yeah I like that less saturated blue as well. That definitely makes me want to debadge the whole car. Wonder if there's holes in the metal though like on 6ga's

Photshop looks good... except for that eyesore of a front license plate! lol Definitely get that off there.

The debadging did something to that front end, I like it even more now. I wonder if there's an indent where the emblem is, on top of holes...

I think it could also look good to give those fog lenses a slimmer profile by covering some of the upper area with a vinyl application (colormatched of course), as long as it wouldn't let any light through it.

The aggressiveness of the car is very much enhanced with a drop. Can't...stop....looking....

Camry = washing machine

This is a wonderful feeling, I now have this after my swap. Just more evidence that you can never have too much power.

I like it :) Interior gadgetry is always fun (imagine if I'd paid for the tech package lol)

Yeah that drop does look nice, but that is definitely not happening anytime soon now that I'm commuting in a major city. How was the install weekend by the way? Fun as hell?

I agree front plates look retarded, but I got ticketed twice and pulled another time when I didn't have it on my Accord for a while, so I don't think it's worth the hassle to be honest.

Looks great!!:omgbd:

Thanks Matt!
