I got a carbon fiber spoiler in a trade but the people had painted only the top flat black and left the rest normal. Should i just primer and paint it whatever color i want or should i try to take off the paint and if so how would i go about that without damaging the clear coat? It will not be going on my accord it'll just be a random part lying around.

What a hard situation.

hmm... well the carbon fiber looks cool, so i'd hate to cover that up.

did the paint on the top make it look stupid? can you take a pic for us to see?

EDIT: is that yours? lol
EDIT2: imo that kinda spoiler looks way too ricey. i'd just sell it. lol

Wow, thats dumb. lol
well i don't see how you'd get the paint off without it looking right. i'd just suggest painting it, and then selling it.
If you do that though, take a pic of it before just to prove its carbon fiber in case somebody doesn't believe you. haha

Thats my opinion anyways.

mount it to your dining room table and use it to place the condiments on while still leaving you the ability to slide the main course and side dishes underneath and around. after all... rice does belong on the table...
