I'd say paint it....if you could get it done for the right price. Otherwise, save your money and lower that ***** :D

Paint the lip, it'll look cleaner.
If you plan on powder coating or painting your wheels, or getting black wheels later on, I'd say plastidip it to get an idea of how it would look before you spend that much money and might not like it. I did my wheels last summer just to see how they would look black. Don't need to sand or anything and it peels right off.

Don't use truck bedliner spray, that's for sure.

I never should have done that to mine.....especially since it was the same colour as the car when I got it, and just needed a respray.

Always paint lips, never paint stock wheels, just my opinion.

On a side note, my Mugen style lip sat lower. I am wondering if you can mount it differently as I think it looks a lot better when the bumper isn't behind the 2 holes in it.

I left mine black and have no intention on painting it. I love the way it looks with the black side panels, grill, roof, and headlights. Plus I have a black and gold thing going on my 4RNR too.

I did put matte black vinyl on the bumper just behind the two slots in the lip so you can't see the gold of the bumper through the holes.

One of the important things you want to remember when building a car is: what kind of car do I want. Always build it in your image.
