    I bet it is from the rear sway end link since you said that the bolts were stripped. I remember reading up on the rear end links making odd clunking noises when they were broken. But i don't understand how the end link would be hitting against the coil overs. I have never experienced that...

    Yes, coupe and sedan sway bars are interchangeable i believe. It doesn't matter if you want to install it when you install your coil overs. But it would be a lot easier to do the install once the coil overs are already put on since you would have to align the end links to match your sway bars...

    Yeah 04 tl-s swaybars fit without a problem. If you live in california you will must likely not need new end links since we don't experience any snow or water that would corrode the bolts. If you have experience it's a good 15-40 minute job.
