    215/45 Tires - Wheels 18 x 7.5

I went through the exact same scenario as you -- plus-sizing from 205/65 - 15"x6.5 on a V6 6thgen sedan (although mine's an '00). You'll see plenty of 6th gen sedans modded on lower-offset wheels, but they are mostly the 4 cylinder Accords. The V6 Accords were OEM'd with higher offset wheels...

18x8 +42. Would it sit flush or stick out on a 1.5" drop

Not an expert here, but just .02 based on my experience. I'm on 17x7.5 +40 and mine stick out too much. If the rims you're talking about were on my '00 sedan - by my math - they'd be sticking out even more by about 4mm. (a +6mm delta for the wider rim; -2mm delta for the offset differential).

    Honda wants my car...

This is kind of ironic for nooby me here. A day or two ago, I complimented nyknick on his "sick ride" when in fact it was RedRyder's. There are two things I gotta say about the 6th gen: 1. It's the best looking Accord ever 2. It's the last one to use old-school for-real throttles...

    225/40-18 on 18x8 rim 40 offset

Would like to resurrect this thread to ask nyknick1015 a question: I assume thats a pic of your ride nyknick1015, and its a pretty sick ride. Can you say what offset and diameter your rims are? I am trying to plus-size while avoiding the rubbing problem just like the original poster. My...
