MCJA automatic transmission
Has anyone used the JDM MCJA 4 speed auto in their 6th gen? If so, what TCU did you use? Basically, I'm swapping the H23A with auto into my 6th gen. The car was originally a 5 spd and I need to figure out what control unit works best with the JDM transmission. Thanks ahead.- btr24evr

On a side note. I picked up complete front and rear knuckles w/ all the brake components in great shape off a 2001 TL at the local salvage yard. Also got the front and rear sway bars and strut tower bar. Everything for about $220. Should be a nice little upgrade in the braking and...- btr24evr

Looks like the H22A4 ecu will be my best bet. Would love the 96 prelude ecu but those things go for half the price of the engine. A $30 immob emulator seems much more reasonable.- btr24evr

Yea, I will need the car to stay OBDII and pass smog in Cali. I think I have the immobilizer issue covered. I'll either get a bypass chip from Doctronics or eBay and solder it in. Some things I forgot about. My stock F23A AC compressor and alternator should bolt right onto the H23A without any mods. If I want to keep cruise control, I will have to swap over the F23A throttle cable pulley. I will probably need to get a new clutch and flywheel. I'm just trying to get...- btr24evr
