Thanks, I think ill update the thread since the forum is still here is still here. So since my last update, if I didnt mention it I have started my own performance company selling ported throttle bodies, intakes and a few other things. Ive also done a lot to frankenstein. This is including but...

Just some more progress. It’s the closest I could find to a cf4 dash that was sold here. Still sorting out climate control. Everything else works except the temp gauge (different values) and rpm bring off (bad cluster). Other than that it feels like a completely different car inside. However it...

I was planning on getting one. However at this point the car is missing so many trim pieces I need to sort the trunk out before hand lol. I appreciate your concern for my safety dad :lawl:

Lot of work recently. The TDC sensor went bad. Don’t get me wrong , I love the F20b but parts are very difficult to find. You can’t just use H22a this or b18c that. Things are the same as other Honda engines but also different. So basically I now have a friend in Russia that ships me parts for...

If your car was a manual to start with you should be ok. It’s got a bracket spot welded up top to stop the bracket from flexing forward. My car started as an auto and I converted it without knowing there was a need for pedal bracing. If there were more bolts in the bracket to start it wouldn’t...

Well, the saga continues lol. 6th gens were known for having flimsy clutch pedal brackets and mine was no exception. Was on my way to work (2nd day on the job), was thinking “man, cars been running great these past few days”. Suddenly I felt like I stepped on legos and the clutch pedal sank to...

Glad we’re not arguing like children and conversing like adults :lawl: do you have Instagram? Or email? Surely you have email. I would think even a homeless person in 2019 has an email address

I mean we’re comparing apples to coconuts here. You’re comparing a 4.8 liter to a 1.9 liter lol. Of course youd make way more power NA. The argument was stock for stock, or basic bolt ons vs basic bolt ons. You’d lose lol. But if we were talking about forced Induction it could go either way...

Yea I don’t see you turning up the rpm by 2000 and having it be reliable :lawl: they don’t turn it down that much. It’s usually 1000. With how much your car weighs and since it has less hp you’d get crushed lol. No offense. I searched around and compared my current 0-80 to a few different...

Yea it would be fun :lawl: but it wouldn’t even be a fair race. I have a way better power to weight ratio, about 2000 more rpms per gear and that awesome vtec :lawl: seriously, without vtec this engine would be useless but I would run just to meet up lol. A lot of American cars in my class...

Finished h22 swap, need ecu advice

Nice work. I went with a chipped p28 for my swap and just had them flash a basemap. These ecu s are all 20+ years old so it’s nice to go the way I did. Reason being is they replace the capacitors and touch up the solder joints. This gives me a little piece of mind. Also being obd1 allows me to...

Yea I’ve heard of that but like I said, I don’t really want a 4 speed with a long overdrive gear lol. I like the 5 short gears. I’ve heard of guys adding a 6th gear with some parts from a tsx manual. Personally I’m not too great at transmission work. I opened a 6th gen trans, some parts fell out...

Yea there’s something ridiculous about this 2.0. Maybe because it’s smaller it consumes less fuel and the compression is 11:1, plus it burns cleaner since it’s 93 coupled with a manual transmission and designed to be at this range. Some Honda magic going on here for sure lol. I can tell you...

Yes and no. Tires only play a large enough part when it comes grip. Rotational mass for cars in roughly the same bracket is null and void. Gear ratios are a big factor but only to a degree. If my car topped out at 100 I’d fly through gears but I could still lose to a car with a little more power...
