    RR's '99 coupe EX-L

1 rack for a PS pump on a car where the newest cars are 23yrs old. Yeah, no thanks. I'm with Red on this though, @ThatDesiKid , the PS pumps might just be the same for the J30 and J32A1.

Seriously, how much more broken can something that's already broken be?

Great video! Gives me the courage to do it myself.....after I've finished my White T-Bird, lol.

No, no rust as she's a California girl :gayfight: Clear coat can be reapplied by itself? That's news to me. On the seats, I found a clean 6GA at the scrapyard a couple years ago. It wasn't crashed or anything, it was complete. I imagine it was there because of a failed AT. Anyway, the seats...

    RR's '99 coupe EX-L

Here is mine in her current state. As you can see, she needs lots of help and only a paint job is what will help her be her best. Add to that, the front seats are just completely shot and need to be either reupholstered or replaced. As far as aesthetics go, that's it really. I'd like some 11G...

Yours is a clean example. I'm jelly. Mine looks clapped out and wish she'd look as good as yours, in SSM color, of course, lol. Did you ever repaint yours, or has been garage kept the whole time?

$1100 later, tires, alignment and bearing..

I had a b!tch of a time getting my ball joints out, so I just took them to a shop after I couldn't get the one out. I paid them $60 for both sides to get done. It did set me back a good 4hrs though between travel and wait time.

For the lower ball joints, you will have to remove the knuckles from the car and take them to get pressed out / in at a shop, FYI. The kit itself seems legit for a front end rebuild and then coupled with the KYB struts , it'll ride nice again.

Mevotech is a good middle of the road product. Their pro series, or whatever they call it, is even better. KYB is great as an OE replacement. That stuff feels identical to OEM ride. They do have their AGX series which allows for a firmer ride, and it is (I have their AGX series stuff).

This is what has kept me in my Accord for so long, lol.

White is a notorious color for premature failure, regardless of car brand. Yes and no. I view vehicle repairs as "the car payment" vs an actual car payment. On my Accord, I've got less than $200 YTD in repairs, oil changes and 1x ATF D&Rs included. It does need a new catalytic converter...

    Loss of Power, no CEL

As I spread out my issues across different platforms, a few have suspected that it might be my catalytic converter. So to test that theory, I just unplugged the upstream O2 sensor right now, and it seems to have had positive results. The engine was able to spin up to 5k RPMs without issue. Next...

    Loss of Power, no CEL

Current symptoms of my CG 2 are: Poor acceleration Little to no power being made above 3,500rpm Can floor it and RPMs won't get above 5k RPMs Will sit at high RPMs before shifting to next gear Rattly noise at higher RPMs (3,500+) Like title says, there's no CEL present for anything out of...

no crank and no start, solved....

Why hello there! Yes, I've had this happen to me too. I'm man (or mad? ) enough to say it!
