Wiring are different. i believe if you put a 1998- 2000 into a 2001-2002 same thing will happen. I swapped out wood grain switches and the pinouts change at the door dont remember if they change a master switch.
I never tried installing the RL switch just took its buttons
When i go to the garage this weekend i can see if mirror lights up because i have the power folding switch which you probably also have.
i think it was a type s or acuras with memory mirrors, dont qoute me on that but i do remember from a junk yard a CL has that window module also

I looked for it on an 02 and 01 it doesn't have it maybe because mine was a 2003 Type S?
Its not a multiplexer...
I believe it will plug in (haven't played with the car in a while) yes both light up a slight dim green, BUT the CL has a window control module the accord does not. Meaning some wires go to the module then back to master switch. IIRC When I did the TL conversion I had to get this module because...
The Acura looks just like the accord but all the little slots light up a greenish color. The RL the word "AUTO" has a rectangle around it that lights up. The RL pssenger buttons have a wider light. I have pictures somewhere ill find them
Do as Red said...
IIRC it should plug in but DO NOT USE IT, it can burn up your drivers side multiplex due to different wiring. ( I said IIRC because I might be thinking of the TL)
Please tell me you didn't try to turn it on and now your Dash Lights and hazards dont work...blown multiplex

No they Dont. I have the 2003 Acura TL Memory system. It doesnt have that feature like the BMWs that close automatically. The Memory Feature Moves them to where I usually have them to drive.( The Glass) I did buy a small timer relay that I wanted to add to fold the mirrors when I shut the car...
Yes it was done a while ago, my dad has been sick so I haven't played with the car or posted much here. If you love wiring this is an easy task. I have now Power folding Heated Mirrors with Memory . (The memory part is something you'll like if you like wiring) Pain in the *** you need the fuse...
