It sounds to me like the tranny you got is shot. I did the same exact swap a few years ago and my tranny still shifts smooth-ish but I credit my transmissions longevity to Honda ATF before it’s too late I would, if I was in your shoes, give it a try. But these autos are a pain in the nutsack...
No worries I might learn a thing or two also lol. But why does it idle high with the iacv hooked up? Is that common with 5MT swaps?

Yea I don’t hear of many cars in my area being stolen but with my luck some scumbag would try to take my baby so I think I’m gonna go the safe route but we’ll see. But man 5+ acres.. that sounds lovely lol

That’s a great point that I didn’t think of that will definitely be considered during the decision making. I just came across a thread about them and it seems reasonable for people who don’t live in high auto theft areas.

Not necessarily, lol plug wires have lifetime warranty depending on brand but plugs have no warranty. So if you but the NGK wires for your F23A1 which I think are $37, you will never have to pay for another set of wires as long as you own the car.

Okay that’s great I’m gonna start looking for an ecu with a key. And I appreciate you mentioning the accord tech thing I found a diagram fir the cruise control which is the one thing I was unclear of.

I may have misconstrued what you mean. So you’re saying if I bring my new manual ECU and my current key they can make my current key start my car and make a spare? And okay thank you I’ll definitely look into that.

Okay I might have to do that this weekend because I was messing with my muffler the other day and heard some stuff clanking around in there so I’ll probably just gut my cat since Florida isn’t an emissions state. Thanks for the help man.
