Which Speakers?

this is what I bought

Hey I bought the same head unit! Stopped working in 2 weeks (lol), probably a burnt fuse. Do you know where I can get a new one? And how do you like the speakers?

still haven't installed them yet. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to me! I got mine off Amazon for like $200 cdn so I'm sure they have more.

alright thanks, 6thgenius, did you unhook the negative terminal when you installed it?

Why would you feel the need to unhook the negative terminal when doing a radio and speaker installation?

to prevent anything from blowing up. I meant to put power. don't remove the negative

Always disconnect the battery when doing electrical work. Better safe than sorry.

It all depends what your comfortable with. If this stuff is new to you, just be safe and disconnect the battery. And always remove ground first. If you short something to the chassis while disconnecting the positive terminal if you haven't disconnected ground, the whole chassis is ground and you will get sparks (or worse). That said, you only need to disconnect ground and only ground to work on the car safely.

Disconnected the battery, installed new speakers and now everything's working fine! Have no idea what the problem was. lol
