So i just bought this manufactor turbo set off the app offerup. This guy said he pulled it off his friend 97 Mitsubishi eclipse gst that got in a wrecked. He sold me the blowoff valve, exhaust manifold, turbo with the oil feed line and coolant feed line attached for $50. Since it was so cheap i decieded to buy it, my brother and i inspected everything and the turbo seem to be fine. I've been doing some research but couldnt fine anything that would actually help much. My question is can i set up this manufactor turbo setup on my cg6. Can i do a poorman turbo set up with this. Can i set it up so i dont have to remap or go obd1 p28 ecu chip? I know the exhaust manifold wont fit i have to buy or fabricate one.

Yes you can use the t25 turbo but its on the small side for this motor (it was small for the 2.0 4g63, a better bet would be the 14b turbo) great for little to no turbo lag but will run out of breath up top.

Yes you can do sort of a poorman setup, the manifold is junk it wont work. But you can use a log style which is cheap and you would need a adapter most likely to go from a t3/t4 mount to a t25 (or look for 16g) style.

No matter what you go with you will need either aem software or odb1 setup.

The coolant lines you should be able to tap into or reroute the coolant bypass hoses on the throttle body to the turbo (especially being in cali those hoses are only good for cold climates to warm the motor quicker by heating the intake air). And for the oil feed line you will need to tap the oil pan.

Good find by the way! If you want to upgrade the small t25 look on the dsm sites you can find 16g, evo 16g, or big 16g turbos all day long for sale.

Ive been setting up my car for turbo since i came on this site my goal is at least 190 to 200 whp. I have a 2.5 downpipe with no resonator, ported throttle body, throttle body spacer, ported and polished head, entired long block rebuild, 12 pound flywheel, new stock clutch and presure plate. Do u think this is enough to turbo my cg6?

Done a compression check? At minimum I'd do headstuds and a headgasket as good insurance.
