Impulse buys are the best buys am I right?! Lol, so excited to pick up this bumper from paint. I'm a bit bummed it isn't OEM but hopefully it fits okay. It's definitely going to change the look of the car. Next on the list is a front lip, paint the side skirts and rear bumper.

On today's project, I install my coupe front bumper! Goodbye old, beat up, scratched up sedan bumper. The car looks so stupid without a front grill lol. I'm lurking on eBay for an OEM one and then I'll send it off to paint. Next up front lip then paint it and maybe paint my side skirts as well.

Picked up an OEM grill the other day. It's a little beat up, but I'm getting it painted anyways. Also bought some OEM wiper blades since it rains so much in Southern California lol. Here's the part number if anyone is interested.

Here's a picture with the front grill installed. I had to trim a few areas down, but I think it looks very clean. I'm going to Plastidip the white paint behind the grill flat black so it blends in a little better. Also, I went lower in the rear, the car is reverse-raking and it looks like shit haha. I'm not going to lower the front yet until I move back to Nor Cal.

Are you switching the hood out to a coupe as well? Nice choice on the front bumper i always like both front bumpers for the coupe. I had the same issue with my drop, than i raised the rear but now my collars are frozen until i pull the struts apart. Looking good as always.

Finally! Someone else on this forum besides me, it's starting to feel like a ghost town haha. Yeah in the future I will be swapping to an OEM coupe hood. I just don't have the funds right now, especially since I have to get it painted. IMO, I'm not the biggest fan of the 01-02 coupe front bumper, I think the 98-00's are the cleanest and I don't really care for foglights anyways. I took off like two perches in the rear and it lowered it quite a bit, I will definitely lower the front some more in the future. Thanks brotha!

I have to replace my front bumper due to my curb incident last year, im really liking your coupe bumper. It is so close to the sedan but the ability to change the grill is huge plus! Keep posting i for sure always read them.

Also just for reference how much did you pay to have it painted?

Yeah, I'm so glad I installed this bumper, it looks so much cleaner. To get it painted with PPG paint it costed $200 which isn't bad. The paint is flawless and I've paid $300 to paint a bumper before but it was an OEM pearl so that's probably why it was so expensive.

Since my class and clinical rotation at the hospital is canceled, I have A LOT of free time on my hands (I can only study so much everyday) stupid Coronavirus. Anyways, I bought an OEM style front lip from BaysonR, I think it's going to compliment the front end really well. I also hit the car with some polish and wax and it looks 10x better. I didn't do the rear bumper because I'm going to get it painted one of these days..
