Time for a small update....(I really should get better at updating lol), I finally got my BBS LMs finished and mounted on the car.

Peeled all of the wrap off the car and dropped it off at the bodyshop to get the side trim modeling shaved, take care of the rust on the quarter panels and doors, roll the rear quarters so I can run a spacer for the rear wheels, and all the dings and dents removed for a rewrap. Once the cars back I'll have the car dropped off at my buddy's shop to fab up brackets for my diffuser that's been collecting dust.

Had a good friend mock me up a render of a new livery I want to run. Decided to pay a tribute to my favorite tuning shop Top Secret and run their livery. I think this next phase of the car will be a time attack/track inspired focus.

1.) Sell me your supercharger, please lol
2.) Bring the car down here, and lets get this swap going
Lol I'll never sell this supercharger. I appreciate the offer for help, but when I pull the motor I wanna go through and redo all the seals and gaskets so there'll be some downtime. I'm hoping to pull the motor this winter and slowly go through it.

Got the car back from the body shop and seeing the body in such a good shape again....I decided it's time to paint.

Settled on Volvo Maya Gold Metallic to replicate the Top Secret Gold as best as I can. Super excited to see how this paint job comes out so I'm going crazy meticulous on the prep work.

Got some Megan Racing mufflers mounted since I wanted to make the diffuser pop out a bit. Love the look and sound, hate the volume in the car. Thinking some Dynamat Extreme might be in order to tone things down in the cabin.

After paint and everything else is buttoned up on the car, I'll see about sourcing a J's Racing Wing.

Great to see your passion for this car. And nice to see such time and care being put into a 6GA, period. haha

Thanks Red! I love this thing to death. Kinda sad seeing some of the OGs I remember from my lurking days part out or sell their cars.

I hear ya. I remember when this forum was hopping and there were amazing builds and so much discussion around new mod ideas and what not. People would post pics from meets, I was always jealous, there were such amazing ones that took place in California. That was all really fun, I miss it.

I still love mine but the paint failure and rust is taking some of that joy away. I hope someday I'll have some disposable income to fully restore it. Coupes are going away, V6's are not as common, manuals are dying, etc....I think I'll be glad I held onto it. If it doesn't disintegrate by then haha.
