Broken A/C?

this sh!t scares me.... i have A/C only in the mornings and at night, it blows cold but only when the A/C lights stay on. During the day (in the Houston heat) the lights stay off, and only my fan blows (hot air from outside with no A/C)

any help or suggestion will be greatly appricated

our ac units have a self diagnostic fuction that makes the lights blink similar to that, but i have never seen that happen by itself.

our cars, if you push the recirc button on then off an hold it, the light will come back on with a series of flashes if there is a problem.

1 blinks is the air mix control motor

2 blinks is the mode control motor

3 blinks is an open or short in the evaporator temp sensor circuit.

I'm not sure how many times your blinked, but i'd just take it to honda.
