can polyurethane be fixed

low n fast . ok well i dragged my lip on the freeway it burned a triangle in the bottom i just wanted to know if the xenon lip is fixable or do i have to replace it. if anyone knows lay it down.. yea i ride 2 fingers off the ground but thats how i like to roll....:kenny:

Polyurethane can be welded actually. You'll have to find a shop or someone who specializes in it though. Some boat repair shops are able too.

It's basically plastic welding. You can actualy DIY with a soldiering iron with a flat tip. The problem is trying to get it work both structurally and not have to use filler. Every repair i have done needed filler which wasn't a big deal to me.

That is exactly why i hate my xenon lip. i'm on my second lip, and this one has the same problem. Good bye xenon front, hello wings west front.
