Serious bogging - please help guys

Well I'm in the process of taking apart the Vtec solenoid right now. There is free movement in the plunger thing or w/e, but I have yet to see the filter (O-Ring). There are two bolts holding keeping it on the head, I got one off, but the other is a bitch to get at.

I took my solenoid off awhile back when i first bought the car and there was no filter like there was on a f22 i took apart the same day....

That's odd. I just went to the Honda dealership and bought a new filter.

Did you have a hard time getting to the two bolts?

sounds like you are low on oil. you said that when you go around a sharp interstate ramp, the car would sputter. That is from oil starvation and the vtec solenoid not engaging due to the lack of oil. Mine does it cuz my car burns oil. That is how i can tell when i need oil...lol.

That is whats wrong with it... ense the fact that the vtec kicks in due to oil pressure....

my car does the exact same thing. but i just got an oil change and it does it all the time. no matter what.
