I had this strange adhesive on my car since I bought it. I became so fed up with it that I finally went into ace hardware today and picked up some Goo gone. I put it on the thing and it still didn't come off but the color surrounding it did for when I wiped it off. Is there any way to get the color back. It's pretty noticeable.

Ouch. Never use Goo Gone for stuff like that lol.. as you see. Or at least color test it somewhere hidden first.

Wipe it down and clean it like a mad man. You need to remove any/all silicone, grease, grime etc.. let by armor all or any other dash/interior cleaner you have used. Then find a plastic paint that matches. Ripping the dash out is a day job in itself. Good luck.

Just for reference...what should he have used for the spot on the dash?
Because I also have a little spot of whatever was left there from a GPS or something, and i want it gone.
