That was fast, it came in today. After getting the Mugen and spending all that time fabbing it...I still wasn't happy with it. I really like this new lip. Can't wait to get it painted.

Bayson R just released a new replica lip. This is far from the previous release that they had which is now (happy to say) discontinued.

The previous version of the 01-02 lip wasn't that bad, especially painted up

I did a previous review of the bayson R 01-02 lip vs a lightly modified OEM front lip kit.

I will be buying the new replica version and will try to do a comparison of all 3 front lips. The thing that interests me about the new version is that it "sticks out" a lot less, which should make attacking driveways with a slammed car a bit easier

Looks good cant wait to see it painted.

I will update, hopefully my paint shop can fit me in this week.

Beautiful. How was the fitment for you, any modifications?

Fitmet is great. Pre drill holes are well placed. There are 2 brackets on the bottom to help support the mount. I will try use some black 3M VHB tape to secure the corners. IMO it blends into the bumper real nice and has that OEM look about it.

I agree that it doesn't look bad on your car, but it would not go good with my setup at all. Thanks for suppling the other options. It should help others to decide.

That was the main issue with it, and why it wasn't very appealling.

It looked like Jay Leno's chin...painted or not, it left alot to be desired.
