Are the function form type 2 really worth the extra money

Im debating on ff 1's or type 2... i kno the 2's got adjustable dampner but are the type 1 really that bad?

I personally like my type 1's. It would be nice to have dampening adjustments but I have lived for the past year or so w/o and am doing fine. If your just looking to slam your ride either will do that for you. If you have a girl/boyfriend that will complain about a bumpy ride, maybe save for another month or two and get the type two's.
