Need a new PCM..
I know this is an old thread, but wanted to share.... I recently bought a 2001 v6 automatic with 80k. When a recent cold snap came through the car would throw codes P1607 (ECM/PCM) and would kick the car into limp mode. Once it warmed up...I could clear the codes and the car would rum great. Window Regulator and Glass Run Channel Replacement
Thanks @HomerJay for in info. I was having similar issues...but it was a different problem. Window would not go all the way up....but it was due to the this: The mid rivet had worked loose and eventually mis-aligning the teeth.- Chris Catignani
