    Re: Free Lens! That's what I see out my back window. In low light the short end, wide open is pretty sub par from what I've seen. That lens can take some awesome pictures, though:

    My car has a lot of miles and I do seafoam once a year or so. Goes in right after the PCV valve, drive around the block a couple times, and then change the oil right after. Should get some good smoke out of the tail pipe when you first start driving (after adding the seafoam).

    It's not glare, per se. The duplicated image is upside down and backwards! First thing I would try is removing the filter as already mentioned. Nifty fifty is a fun lens for low light!

    Re: Free Lens! Most likely. Either that or they think they gave you a return label, and after the grace period for returns, they will probalby just charge your card with the cost of the other lens.

    I was at Coffman for a meeting. It was the first time I've been on campus since I graduated last spring. The only one I was in the elevator with was my wife (who was not happy when I decided to stop the car and get out to take pictures of yours, haha).

    Wow, expected them to be a lot sharper with that lens. Did you crop them down, or did the car fill the frame? What settings/light source did you use? Your 100% crops of the moon look MUCH sharper than those pics.

    Just wondering, why such a narrow aperture? IMO, the background in most of those isn't interesting enough to be in perfect focus. A little background bokeh will draw even more attention to the subject.

    Craigslist: Do it? I have winter tires on my stock steelies, and I'm thinking of selling my summer wheels and going with something cheap. I really don't care about looks, so I don't mind these. I would get summer tires on them and have them powdercoated, possibly a similar gunmetal...
