3 wire to 2 wire IACV help?

Hey everybody, I decided to just go with getting an OBD1 plenum that has a 2 wire IACV. I wanted to switch to a Euro R manifold, but I'm saving up for a truck and can't afford any nice expensive upgrades for a while :( Anyways, I know I'll need to remove one of the wires and repin 1 or 2 wires...

Autometer Cobalt or Ultralite digital water gauge?

Not really sure where else to post this. Anybody have any experience or feedback about Autometer's "Cobalt" or "Ultralite" digital water temp gauge? I'm looking to get a new water temp gauge for my car, and think a digital one will help give my interior a more updated look. Anyone know if a...

Function & Form type 1 for daily driving?

So it seems like everybody wishes they were stiffer, but say's they're great for the price.. Pretty sure I'll try saving up for type 2s over the summer for the extra adjustability & stiffer feel, but we'll see what my financial situation will allow :skurred: Also, how much stiffer than stock do...

Function & Form type 1 for daily driving?

Yeah after posting I decided to search, and found a lot of reviews.. How much lower than stock are you riding? Seems like a few Accord owners say the max height is too low. I definitely do not want a slammed car or anything, I want to have a smaller wheelwell gap and sportier ride. What height...

Function & Form type 1 for daily driving?

So I'm considering buying the FF type 1 coilovers. Do everybody who has them: Are you happy with them? Are they comfortable enough for daily driving, and good enough to be fun at the tracks? Do you have any complaints, or wish you got the type 2s? They're not just all show and no go coilovers...

3 wire to 2 wire IACV help?

Aww man, I just keep getting bad news about my parts today... Well I'm going to avoid unneccessarily taking a hammer to any part of my car. Maybe I'll just find a stock euro R manifold and get it ported. Anybody know any trusted places where I can get one? I don't want to go to a website and...

3 wire to 2 wire IACV help?

Ok so I have an H23a VTEC engine in my car. It has the 3 pin IACV, and I ordered a Skunk2 intake manifold which is designed for the 2 pin IAC. The manifold is taking forever to get here and I haven't been able to drive the Accord in months. My question is, would I be able to modify the 3 pin...

    2000 accord Poor Performance

It's a 6th gen ULEV Accord, of course the performance will be poor :ohsnap: But I'd say replace the oil and clean/replace the air filter, and check for any codes. Just cause the CEL isn't on, that doesn't mean there aren't any codes. I haven't seen or driven your car, but I think there's most...

J30a1 turbo w/ TL tranny vs K20a3 turbo swap?

Definitely do the J30 turbo. You get 2 more cylinders, an extra liter of displacement, so much more torque, it's going to be less of a pain and cheaper... I really don't see any way the k20 would be a better choice, other than you'll save a little more gas. But even then, after spending all...

Apexi WSII catback exhaust fitment questions...

Just a guess... But maybe you got a catback system for a coupe. Your sedan's 2 inches or so longer than the coupes, so I think that's a possibility if you're muffler's in a couple inches too far.

You know you drive a 6th gen Accord when....

Happened last year at work. The same person thought my friend's Integra was a Civic... Haha

    Car flipping..

I'm also planning on flipping cars starting later this year. As far as I could figure, the best things to do are have lots of patience, find out what people in your area are interested in, look for those cars with as few problems as possible and as cheap as possible, and don't get too greedy on...

    turboing a high milage car?

Did you mean to say it has an f23? f22s are from previous gen Accords. And I'd be against turboing an engine with that many miles. But as everybody else is saying, if you take the correct safety precautions, you might be fine for a while

    Throttle Body upgrade?

Don't be sorry, I was giving you a hard time :P that was funny. And that's interesting, I wasn't able to find any h22 TBs that let me keep cruise. Not a big deal anymore though, I got used to not having it.

    Throttle Body upgrade?

Oh, that would have been good to know ahead of time... thanks for making me look dumb :P haha

    Throttle Body upgrade?

Haha well if you don't have have cruise control anymore, then h22 TB's really are a great choice!
