If you have the real deal, I agree with varnell's 7k-10k. Of course they're not exactly desired cars like the nsx, crx, type r, etc. It finding the right person who is willing to pay that much though (me if I wasn't poor), but to most people it's still just another outdated honda

    p1259 vtec system malfunction

It's very rare for a vtec solenoid to fail, like a less than 1% chance. Try disassembling it cleaning it out and replace all the gaskets when putting it back together. But first check the screen filter when you take the solenoid off

Noob here, what the difference between accords with vtec vs. ulev valve covers

It's pretty much the same as the f23a1, just pollutes a little less and has like 4 or 5 less hp depending on which source you find. Pretty much what the others said, more restrictive intake exhaust and head. I'm not sure what's different about the head though, different port maybe? I think the...

    F23a1 advice

Convert to manual, that'll help a lot. Use an h22 transmission, shorter gearing will help acceleration too. Especially with 3rd gear

What'd you do to your accord today?

Driving to class today and I happened to see this at Arby's a block away from my dad's house... My old Accord I sold last year!!! They changed a few things on the outside and got rid of the H23A VTEC I swapped in cause it won't pass emissions (which really really pisses me off) but I got...

    Varnell's '99 J37 Stroker 6MT Coupe EX-L

Re: Varnell's '99 V6 Coupe EX-L Nice car, I'd love to have a 6th gen coupe again someday. One question, how could you dislike the tail lights??? That's probably my favorite thing about them!

    VTEC Upgrades?

Really the only way to "upgrade vtec" is by installing a better cam. Well that and a tune.

    H23a DOHC vtec swap

With the power steering, make sure you don't forget to swap over the crank pulley. It might also be a good idea to test fit the ps system to make sure everything fits. For the disi, it's not too hard if you know even a little bit about wiring. The h23a disi is the same as the h22, so use the...

    New n ready to improve

The engine you have is more emissions friendly like james said. The hp loss in your engine is so small, I wouldn't make a big deal about it. But if you really wanted to, you could swap heads with an f23a1. Or even do a very mild port and polish to bring it up to par. You may also want to swap...

    H23a DOHC vtec swap

I actually got rid of power steering on mine.. The sir accord wagons came with electronic ps, so the h23a never had the pump. That also means the crank pulley isn't designed for one, so you'll absolutely need to swap that out. Can't say if the f23 pulley, pump and bracket will work or not. I...

    Power Steering Pump

^+1, ac delco usually has really good quality parts. I believe they're even an OE parts supplier for GM

    H23a DOHC vtec swap

Dizzy stays the same, and I kept the engine's stock obd2 injectors when I used an obd1 p13 ecu. The jumper harness can be bought pretty much anywhere, and people are almost always happy with the ebay ones

    H23a DOHC vtec swap

You use an h22 header. You treat it like an h22 swap, and use an obd2 prelude ecu if you need to worry about emissions. I've personally done this same swap a few years ago, almost all the parts you buy for it is the same as an h22

    Turbo f23a1 help

Umm.... basically what Jordan said, don't know if I could've worded it better. Turbo hondas are nothing new, you can find almost everything you need to know just by using google. People here would be more than happy to help if somebody is trying, but nobody likes spoon feeding.

Re: *HAPPY NEW YEAR UPDATE 1/5/15* Jordan's 2K1 Accord Coupe EX (56k) I think red would flow better, mainly cause the others are already going to be red too
