    Salvaged prelude parts for accord.

Everything you need is there. Ecu will need the immobilizer removed or disabled assuming it's obd2. Using google will answer everything. What state is it in? For only $350 and miles that low, maybe I'll buy it before you

What'd you do to your accord today?

Call the company that guy works at and call your insurance company, hopefully your plan covers that. And bring in any proof you're able to find. If it was somewhere like the hood or front fender or even windshield it wouldn't be as sad, but that's a really unfortunate spot

    Misfire Help!

Quick guess, maybe the timing wasn't adjusted properly? Was it having those issues before or after you did the 210k mile service? Also, you didn't also check the spark plugs when you pulled the coil packs. When were the plugs last replaced? Pull them one by one and inspect each of them for...

    Raceland Coilovers

Racelands are good if you only want to be low at car meets, that's about it. I'd recommend getting ff2's

    My 89 CRX DX

^ I really need that ratchet! I brought a fence pole to my dad's house where the car is parked so I have a better cheater bar, but can't seem to find the 32mm socket now. In other news, I bought a 1990 crx to use as a daily. Has its issues but shouldn't need too much work to pass safety. Most...

As long as there's no major rust, seems like you got a great deal! It's been said already, but even after you spend money getting it in good condition, you'll still come out on top

    Euro R H22 6th gen accord

Holy cow that's nice. I can't even find a word that describes how great and well thought out it looks. Simply amazing, definitely want to see how it progresses

    Jon's BH Outback

Wait, it has 2 moonroofs? Damn, you baller. I typically don't like subarus, but think the 1st gen impreza, older legacy and outbacks are great cars. And it looks really well taken care of! One thing I don't like though.. only 25 mpg? Is that normal for those cars?

My trip to Japan in Fall 2014

Lucky you, that's Japan's one of the places I want to visit. The food portions don't seem very big, maybe I'm just too used to American meals haha

    G23 Turbo or JDM H22?

If you want something quick and won't be boosting for a while, h22 or h23 might be better. And when the time comes to turbo, make sure you upgrade the connecting rods. A lot of people say you must resleeve the block, but I've met enough people with turbo preludes using stock sleeves and only...

    G23 Turbo or JDM H22?

Are you going to go boost either way? If so, I'd say go g23 because it'll be cheaper and the block can handle boost better. With an h22, if you're going to tear into it and upgrade the internals, I don't see why you don't just get a usdm h22 instead.

    My 89 CRX DX

You don't know how much help that post was... reading it made me remember I have a 6-8 foot long metal fence pole lying in my shed, no joke :) I'm going to try that when I can. The passenger nut came off with one big push. The driver side, it looks like they forced it on. It's actually crooked...

    My 89 CRX DX

Nothing new happening with my car. Previous owner apparently put an axle nut on wrong and it refuses to come off. I tried a breaker bar, breaker bar with extension, my dad's air compressor with a snap on air gun, and kicking. I'm just going to cut it off eventually and get another one from the...

    Passenger strut fork

I'd think a cl part would work, but would need to see them side by side to decide. Maybe look up the part number for the accord and cl/tl to see if they match. Try majestic honda or car-part as mentioned already, or see if someone on here is parting out their car and ask for that piece

Is it ok to remove head with manifolds attached to replace head gasket?

Honestly, I don't know how the rep thing works haha never bothered finding out. Don't worry about it, just happy to help

Is it ok to remove head with manifolds attached to replace head gasket?

Yay Utah! Unfortunately I don't have any useful advice for your second question, but the way you described doing it sounds like it's not going to work. On my dohc and sohc engines, they were already pretty disassembled when the cam seal was installed and needed the timing fully redone anyways...

Is it ok to remove head with manifolds attached to replace head gasket?

If you're doing it with the engine out of the car, you should be able to no problem. With the block in the car, you may or may not have trouble getting the head on with the manifolds attached. Intake manifold gaskets aren't expensive if you go with felpro, I haven't had any issues with that yet...

Are you Canadian? I'm jealous of how you guys only get a 15 year law! So you could probably get a 6th gen wagon right now if you had the money, huh? Also, I'm not that into lowered subarus :P I love stock legacies because of how simple and practical they are :lawl:
