Pics below so you can have a better idea.
What's strange is that the master switch i got doesn't have blue caps on both led switches. Don't know if the led is greenish by itself which i doubt but i don't remember have seen white windows switches illumination on Acura's.. For now i can't...
The bulb is soldered but easy to access, you could remove it and solder a new bulb. I'll post a picture of the bulb when i come home tonight so you can see how it look like.
I opened the mirror switch and there is definitively a bulb inside covered by a blue cap. The yellow bulb + the blue cap give the greenish color. If you want another color just change the cap color.
Ok now that i'm looking again at the jtc illustration below it's exactly what you're suggesting. Saw the illustration before but didn't really pay attention to it  Basically didn't know it was possible to have a short throw and keep the stock height or taller lever. Well...since there...
btw, i hit 80 post and still can't start any convo..i want to reach some members and i'm stuck.. Please have a look to my issue when you have time. thanks
edit : solved, start conversation finally appeared after my 82th post...
Surprising is not obligatory on us roads when you see how safety this can be. On high density fog a rear fog light is so useful and crucial in my opinion and make a world difference in sight. I've been surprised more than once from cars in deep fog that didn't light up their fog light. I would...
Not sure i got it, if i use an shifter extension of a short shifter is like going back to normal lever height no ? How could the throw remain shorter ? Please elaborate.
fncone, i saw you already removed a button switch from the master switch, can you tell me what is the easiet and safier way to do it without damaging anything ?
I knew this one was coming, but was lazy to edit my message. I NEVER keep my hand on the shifter while a gear is engaged and actually i'm usually always the first person to recommend this to other people and my entourage. If i rest my hand while having my arm on the armrest is ONLY when i'm on...
Hello gang,
Ok i was thinking to add to my shop list the jtc short shifter but i feel this mod may not suits my ride comfort expectations. I'm not a spirited driver and when driving my cg i like to cruise and i obviously like ot have my arm sitting on the armrest and because the shifter is tall...
I don't have a picture of the switch in my car and didn't remove it yet since i still didn't received the Tl one. Also edm 6th gen's have the heated mirrors from factory. So basically the switch i bought and the one i have on my car are the exact same switches with heated mirros. The only...
Not sure about that, my switch is the exact same as the one i bought except is not illuminated and i have one less wire. So i think the wire has to do something with the illumination and the brake/parklight switch.
The switch i bought is not a PFM but only heated. But the mirror button is translucent and so illuminated. THe harness is different than the 6th gen and seems to have one extra wire. I need to found both 6th gen and CL diagrams to re-pin.
I checked the diagrams of the Acura's and as you...
Very nice coupe, look in great condition ! Mods depend on each individual taste and driving style. i'd say take a look in the members rides to get some inspirations. Also keep care of her because soon cars like that in good condition are going to be very rare specimens !
So your MIRROR inscription doesn't lit up ? You had to re-pin your Mirror switch or just used the harness that came with the mirrors ? because it's not the same harness as our 6th gen from what i've seen. You couldn't found a way to make the illumination work or you didn't really bother to make...
Ok, it's indeed a different thing than i though. I re-checked the description of the master switch i bought and while in the title it was saying 98-03 Acura TL i notice that below in the descritption as part number it was noted 35750-S82-A06 and from what i can see this number is refered to the...
