    Making a lot of progress I see. If your planning to do something with the headlights, I'd go with black housing. It just looks really clean. You could go smoked as well. Also if you're buying the housing you could get the ones with or without the amber color.

    I haven't touched my stock muffler cause I'm afraid I'll get a terrible sound that'll piss people off (neighbors and car guys). If I do anything with my exhaust it'll be a cat back or new muffler. Just me, but you do what you want, it's your car after all.

    I'm not an expert when it comes to wheels but I'm pretty sure nobody has run this setup yet. Probably will have to test some different setups to get it to work. Best of luck, maybe someone has the info on it to help you out. Could try the driveaccord forum as well.

    I'm not an expert by any means on them as it looks like the previous owner installed mine (there's some funky wiring) but I have a thing where I'll hold the button to open the trunk and it unlocks the trunk but it doesn't actually pop up.     Yeah I have something similar but if the car has been on the yard for more than a week it's probably been parted out of the good stuff.     Amazon and eBay have coupe bumpers I think, or check out your local junkyard sometime this spring. You can probably find a decent deal somewhere.

    Rust, leaks, the obvious stuff I guess. On a 6th gen in particular because of its age the radiator hoses and the throttle body(cables). If I think of anything else I'll add it.

    Never thought about that with the oem safety feature compared to aftermarket seats. You're probably right about the fact that most race seats aren't going to have the laying mechanism that oem seats have. That's an interesting one, safety before weight reduction I guess.

    I probably should have worded that differently. Just saying, doesn't take long to figure out that there are known issues with the auto transmission if you look around on this forum. But also there are some good automatic transmissions out there, so just keep an open mind as not every single 6th...

    I wouldn't black list the automatics. I know the auto transmission on my 6th gen isn't in the best condition but there's a few out there that have no problems whatsoever.
