    Something messed up happened....

I would almost consider buying a replacement bumper and getting it painted myself but I guess whatever option is cheaper.

    Remote Start Not Working Correctly

Alright must've been a timing coincidence then. It's an avital system, it's always worked since my dad picked up the car (had it for about 5 or 6 years now) so I just find it odd that it randomly doesn't work correctly. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the computer or the wiring though.

    Frankenstein's engine choice. You decide

Ah, fair enough. I think I'd try my luck with the f20b then personally but you wouldn't have to do as much to fit an h23... I guess whatever you think you'll be happier with

    Remote Start Not Working Correctly

Hey everyone, glad to see the forum has been quite active recently compared to a few months ago. Anyway I've been meaning to ask about this for a while now. A couple months back I threw on an eBay cold air intake (which I'm very happy with), but it was also after I installed it that my remote...

    Something messed up happened....

So it's just paint damage? No dent or anything? I can't imagine it would be very pricey if this is the case

    Frankenstein's engine choice. You decide

Yeah agreed, I know they're a little more of a mainstream swap compared to an h23 or f20 but I think you may be better off

    Eyelids/eyebrows

Yep just cosmetic^^, I've got some on mine and I haven't seen any difference in light output or direction

    FS: F23a4 part out

Yeah I know the parts fit but Enne wants the ULEV valve cover, I have the standard f23a1 cover. I'm glad you'll be holding onto these parts for a little because I'd like to get the headers when I have enough time/money for it to be a priority :waytogo:

    FS: F23a4 part out

Ah, sadly I've got an f23a1, sorry. I keep forgetting this thread is for the A4 not the A1. Luckily you may be able to find one for about 20 bucks at the junkyard off of an A4 possibly

    Goals for 2017

Figured I'd revisit this thread a year later, definitely did not meet my "goals" but as I became a little more educated with the car scene and my car itself, priorities changed  Decided not to go with the civic Mugen FD2 spoiler, just didn't seem like it would look great on my car...

    High Mileage 6th Gens

I'm at about 163k miles with my CG3. Think I've got a minor rear main seal leak and the automatic transmission will probably go before it hits 200k but the F23 is still kickin strong

    FS: F23a4 part out

Hmm I'd have to hold off for now, as much as I think the deal you're offering is fair I'd have to save up a few paychecks. Money is pretty tight when you're in high school working a low-paying job and you've got other things to pay for and not a lot of free time  also considering its the...

    Aftermarket Lighting Assistance

May I ask what year/body style LX you have? I know there's certain fogs that require cutting into the bumper (inspire I think they're called) but in that case you may not need a new bumper. May be worth going to your local junkyard and trying to find a bumper or fogs from another CG. Adding a...

I'm no expert on this but I think you may have to take it to a dealership, someone please correct me if I'm wrong

    Consensus Question

It's definitely the more reliable choice in my opinion, while it's not the easiest to make power with, it's possible. Hope it works out man. Glad I could help :waytogo:

    Swapping a 2.3 VTEC in place of a 3.0

It's definitely possible, I just don't think I would do it personally. Just doesn't seem like it's worth the work but that's just me.

    Consensus Question

I mean a fully built F23 can net you some decent horsepower gains, I think I remember reading up on someone who rebuilt theirs twice swapped a manual in and boosted it and they were making over 350 easily I'm pretty sure. It also sounds like it's a lot of work to make power with the F23 though...

    RL Wheels

I think with how wide these are and with a lot of the 17's on these accords you'll probably have to get your fenders rolled (also depends on your ride height). I don't think I've heard of anyone running RLs personally, but it sounds possible.

    Exhaust system help

I know vibrant mufflers sound pretty good especially if you want a louder sound, I'm content with my CAI and stock exhaust though, doesn't bother the neighbors and I didn't have to drop much money :waytogo:

    1999 2Dr. Accord Market

If you end up trading it to a dealer you won't get a lot at all for it. You'd be better off selling it yourself. Usually on Craigslist if it's in good condition you can ask a little higher than kbb recommends just because there's a decent market for used Hondas. In regards to this car generating...
