    Drilling out a bolt

Saw something similar at Walmart in the US, was thinking I might invest in a set of these for the future.

    Drilling out a bolt

It cracked my socket when I first tried to loosen it. NO idea why it was so hard to loosen. Didn't think of this option though, will give that a try as well. Thanks for the suggestions.

    Drilling out a bolt

No, head of the bolt is pretty stripped. I figure if it can be carefully cut off, it won't be hard to get the shaft of the bolt out without damaging the hole.

    Drilling out a bolt

Anyone ever done this? I have a stripped bolt in the engine bay that I need to get out. It's the one near the windhield washer fluid cap(blue cap). Don't want to have to remove the bumper/headlight, so I am thinking it will have to take a steady hand with a grinder and then a drill bit to...

What'd you do to your accord today?

That's is not a common thing to happen up here, but I wouldn't have hesitate to run him down on the hwy and have a discussion with him once he reached his destination. V8 vs v6.....I could have caught him easily enough.......it's the disrespect for no reason I don't tolerate........from anyone.

    JV6 Lexus is350

Had to laugh at this.......so much more advances compared to our cars, lol. I'll probably be the same way when I get in to something much newer as well. Enjoy the new ride, James. Looks like it will be alot of fun, especially since it's the 350.

What'd you do to your accord today?

Picked it up this morning after the alternator/SRI install. Didn't bother put the CAI on, because I will be replacing the entire IM/TB/Intake system with a custom setup courtesy of Smalser Performance. Will be upgrading to a 3" CAI at that point. Glad to have it back. Missed driving it...

What'd you do to your accord today?

I have the full interior LED line-up that I got from Jeff(Jephu) awhile back. Need to switch out the blue lighting and get the white in there. I have thought about the cupholder one as well, but sometimes I have drinks that condense and I wasn't sure if that would be an issue.

    Wheel Fitment Thread

Nice, I am thinking I would go with 225 40, just to keep it reasonable given the road conditions up here at any time. Appreciate the pics, thank you.

Ok, almost thought I was going crazy, that is a 4cyl CAI, it will NOT fit a v6.

What'd you do to your accord today?

91k+, approximately, at time of install. Also, I almost forgot, I need to take that third brake light pic for you as well. Will get to that, asap.

215....seems a little skinny for a 9" tire. Have you had any issues with that?

    Wheel Fitment Thread

Funny, on Friday, when the alternator went, I was going to measure it while I was witing for the tow truck. I thought it would look weird, me in the middle of the road with a tape measure....lol I actually have no idea. No camber kit(s) at the moment, I would say I am in the 24" range. I do...

Do you have a shot from the F/R showing how far the wheels stick out? What size tires are you running?

What'd you do to your accord today?

No, not yet. Coming up on several maintenance things to get done, but some are going to be DIY, because costly. It hasn't been as bad lately, for some reason. Looked up the necessary part and was very disheartened to find out it's less than $20 for the part, and the labour to replace it...

Anyone have pics of an 18 x 9 +35 setup? Trying to get an idea as to how that would sit with a fairly aggressive drop.

What'd you do to your accord today?

That's how much the spare one I have cost me as well. No dogs to outrun, though. Should be getting the car back today after the new alternator and a couple little things get done.

    Acura Parts

The interior of the TL will probably be too much work to get it to fit in your Coupe. If it was an 01-03 CL, then I would suggest getting the interior, the 1st Gen CL is more suited for a 5th Gen, as far as interior. It's narrower than our cars. Not sure about the steering knuckle, there are...

    Acura Parts

You can use the strut bar from the TL. You COULD use the suspension, but since you are a 4cyl, you are likely to have some issues with the ride height. The entire interior can be swapped over from the CL if you have the Coupe. You can also take the rotor/hub assembly's from either car and do...

What'd you do to your accord today?

Got it towed to the mechanic. Hoping I can find the invoice(for life time warranty coverage) from when I bought my Alt., cause I think this one is shot.
