DIY 01-02 accord VIP STYLE grill

The Plasti Dip won't hold paint, and as soon as you try to sand it any to get a rough surface to hold to, the PD will peal.

Re: [Not]Walking in Memphis meet 2014 I'd like to meet up and get to know you guys. Just let me know a time and place. Haven't been to the Corvette Museum since last year, so that sounds pretty awesome if it's open.

So I plasti dipped my car

^This. Plus, Plastidip is good for a quick fix and small parts and pieces. It does peel and pit as you drive your car with the road grim and rocks and what not. Igor is right, save the extra money and just paint the car.

DIY 01-02 accord VIP STYLE grill

It looks really good! It does remind me of my old TL, but funny thing is, I painted mine all black to get rid of that look :laughing1:

    More Speakers

Don't have pictures, as they are a work in progress, but I have extra pillars that I've been molding Rockford Fosgate PP4-T into, and working on extra door panels to include one Rockford Fosgate PPS4-6 and one Rockford Fosgate PPS4-8 with the Rockford Fosgate PP4-X crossover connecting them...

New speakers for 2002 Accord Coupe SE

Hmmm, if you are wanting to do just that, I would suggest a decent and affordable set of components. You could try the Rockford Fosgate PRIME R1675-S, which would replace just the factory tweeter and mid with RF stuff, and would only cost you roughly $60 over at Sonic Electronix. Also, trust me...

What is cheap way to make your car as quiet as much as possible?

Frost King from Home Depot works, I applied it to my entire trunk, and then covered it with carpet padding and Polyfill before putting panels and factory carpet back in. It helped a bunch of vibrations and made the noise from my exhaust much more bearable.

New speakers for 2002 Accord Coupe SE

Since this is a budget build of roughly $100, this is what I'd suggest. For your rears, Rockford Fosgate R169X2 (better bass response and won't overpower your vocals up front), and as you suggested, just replace your mid-driver with MTX RTX658 and keep your factory tweeter. This, with shipping...

    danmccormick87 '99 CG Grocery Getter

After getting a divorce and losing my Acura TL to the ex, I decided to get a family-friendly car that was efficient on fuel and affordable to maintain, upgrade, and stylishly eye-catching. I always felt like my old TL was modeled after the 6th gen Accords, so I decided to purchase one. Changes...
