Update:
So after a more careful inspection I noticed that the front sway bar end links are busted and definitely need replacing. I went ahead and order a pair from a eBay for $20 and installed them today.
Drivers side was a piece of cake. Used some penetrating oil and let it soak for 15...
I was looking at one of Eric the car guys vids on YouTube where he shows the job on a 1999 Civic. Doesn't seem too complex, just uncomfortable lol.

and I got a quote today from a mechanic that said he would do it for $400; parts + labor included.
Weighing my...
It appears to be leaking from the drivers side area of the rack where the hose meets the rack.
Thanks xci.ed6, it appears that the rack will need to be replaced. I was able to source a used one in good condition for $125.00
This job seems like it will be a pain to do :computer:
I need some input from the 6GA Community. :mf_pcwhack:
Yesterday I inspected the outer tie rods on the coupe and noticed significant play on them. I could twist them clockwise and counter-clockwise which makes a tapping noise on the knuckle. This noise combined with noises I hear while...
Thank you Sil2DrV6! Yes I have. One of the many cosmetic things I'd like to do.
You are correct Red! Its a bit of a process. You have to be patient and try over and over until the bubble lines up. I'll be doing this again this weekend when I move them the rears to the front. Time to rotate.
x2 minus the BFH lol (I've replaced the upper ball once since having them put on in November 2013)
I have ingalls rear Toe arms since January 2015, and so far so good. Solid; no play
Following up;
I purchased a Harbor Freight a Static Portable Wheel Balancer to look into my balancing suspicion. Didn't even know these things existed! Pretty neat. Took me a few try's to get the balancing on the wheels as close to perfect as possible.
After a couple hours over a...
OEM "Wood" Kits only came in one finish, burlwoodish lol.
Cant speak for the hydrogrpahics kit, but I have OEM and it looks nice :party52:
In the for sale thread I'm selling some pieces, let me know if anything.
Changed the Drivers side CV today, drivers side lower ball joint, and did an oil change.
I noticed some vibration between 60-70mph, rather annoying. Tires are set to 40 psi, gonna check the balancing on them next.
It was rather simple for me! The drivers side OEM wood from a 98 will work for 01, plugs right up. You can't just swap the wood. You need the entire piece though (including the switch) and not just the cover. I learned you can't separate an 01 or 02 driver side switch.
As of the passenger...
Im running ebay front and rear along with ingalls toe arms in the rear.
Ive had the ebay front camber arms for over 2 years and ive had to replace the upper joint once (broken rubber bushing). I did however had to grind the top corners of the camber arms because they would hit the inner wheel...
