    how those tips work is there is a set screw/s that essentially clamp it to your current exhaust piping. you can see one of these screws in your second link. I would assume it would work. what you would want to check is the pipe diameters. perhaps someone else would know if we share same size...

    As stated above, it will be unlikely to find one at a junkyard. Also, at least here in ohio, if you're planning on taking one from a donor car, be it from CL or the junkyard, the flanges are most likely going to be rusted, which means using a cut off tool and having an exhaust shop either weld...

    i'll try some of these suggestions when i can , and update. as far as compound, what should i be looking for. i have some meguires polishing compound, but i'm wondering if i want something more aggressive like a rubbing compound. (sorry if its a dumb question, i;m a novice at this type of detail...

    yeah I guess I see why you might think it would be darker, fading from the sun right? I was thinking it was that way, maybe because dirt/ tar/gunk got on the exposed areas and not where the badges were. if it is something to this cause, would clay baring it help
