dash lights this wire is causing issues look***

What FNCONE said about the multi sounds like the culprit, but only because the orange wire may of blew it. I usually never hook up the orange wire, instead just put a piece of heatshrink on it so it doesn't touch anything then zip-tie it to the other wires, so it doesn't go anywhere either.

    Hesitant/Misfire/Running like crap

I was going to say maybe the timing belt skipped a tooth, but it looks like you nailed it! :) Was it hard to clean out the EGR valve, lots of carbon? Can you move the plunger up and down easy? Thinking of doing it to mine, but first I got to figure out why I have a knocking sound at 2000 rpm...

    Average RPM at 55mph

On level ground while in D4 count how many times the trans shifts from 0mph, you should feel it kick slightly between gears. The engine should never be revving that high, definitely sounds like slippage. Make sure the proper auto trans fluid is in there, Hondas are picky with their fluids. The...

Quick question regarding a broken air line(?)

It's not a high pressure line, so fitting a slightly larger pipe over it will be fine, you can even use flexible tube that's fairly stiff. You may be able to make your own by buying a chunk of vacuum line/hose and cutting it to the desired length.

Quick question regarding a broken air line(?)

Try maybe MAcGyvering (connecting) it with a slightly larger tube, like an empty pen, while it buys you time to get something better at a parts store.

What is one option you wish your car came with?

Well, the 2002 (last of the 6 Gen SE) has a lot of nifty features, but it would of been nice if the V6 had a manual trans option, like the 4 banger! Not to mention like in Europe, it seems there are more engine options there too (not diesel though lol), I think the F23A engine in Japan came with...

    Rusted subframe need help quick!

Hi, this is a design flaw, that actually made big time news a while ago, it is caused by the AC condenser drain pipe, which actually just so happens to drain right on top of the sub frame (passenger side). Over time the constant dripping of water rusts/rots out the sub frame. If you look at the...

Re: Engine knocking around the 2000 Rpm range - No Rush, just looking for opinions :) Hi Brad! Kind of new, just updated the first post. Thanks!

    bad vibration

Maybe the spark plugs need to be replaced, cap & rotor too? Check the subframe where the motor is bolted to from the bottom, make sure all the bolts are on tight and that there are no rusty spots. Put on some heavy duty gloves and see if you can move anything. The subframe can rust pretty badly...

    HELP!!!! Urgent...can't close hood

Get your buddy to pull on the hood lever while you pull on the hook, causing it to rock back to the normal open position, you can even use a screwdriver to simulate the hood latch.

Engine knocking around the 2000 rpm range

*Update* Hi, just got back from work, and every time I hit the gas, it would start knocking around 2000 - 3000 rpm. Got home and tried it in neutral, same, but not as bad. Will post video soon! (Quick stats: 2002 Accord Coupe, F23A1 w/ 5spd, only 120,000Kms!) Problem: Noticed very faint...

    Engine knock: DIY Rebuild?

Thanks twofast4u! Wasn't really too enthusiastic about removing the engine from below, although I heard you can use an engine hoist to lift up the front end of the car. It seems like twice the work to me! All I know is that sooner or later I'll be removing that oil pan, and get to the 'bottom'...

    Engine knock: DIY Rebuild?

It seems I may have the same problem as you too! (Quick stats: 2002 Accord Coupe, F23A1 w/ 5spd, only 120,000Kms!) I've started noticing this very faint knocking sound about 8 months ago, it seems it would come and go. I even went to show my mechanic buddy about a month ago, but I couldn't get...
