Timing belt replacement questions
This whole time I was thinking that the balance shaft had female threads for this bolt, but it doesn't say anything about tightening it. So it's acting like a pin.- JDM_Rook

Valve covers
Are the f23a1 and F23a4 valve covers interchangeable? Saw a post on ebay for powder coating service for the F23. I have a ulev valve cover. Didn't know if this valve cover would work or not. He also offers to send in your own valve cover rather than the use this one...- JDM_Rook

Has anyone installed and used header wraps for their accords? I have a stainless steel header that's only a month old and has already gotten an aged look to it from the heat. $800 all together engine and install? You really made out if that's the case. You don't think Goodyear would be suffice? I have friends who use Gatorback and have no problems what so ever. If they can make racing tires why couldn't the they be able to make some decent belts. I will prob get help from a friend to install and use and engine stand.- JDM_Rook

I ordered Goodyear/Gatorback timing belt component kit gtk0244, and also new power steering belt and serpentine belt. Then just ordered two new tensioner springs for both timing and balance shaft belts.- JDM_Rook

I am looking to get a new timing belt and water pump for my stock F23. Any reccomendations on either part? Also thinking of maybe getting a lightened crank pulley. Ebay has OBX for $63. What is there reputation? Would it be okay to run a lightened crank pulley and have the other pulleys...- JDM_Rook
