    I thought this connector shown here is for the fan swith located on top of the thermostat housing? Green and black but with shorter wiring, and on the opposite side of the engine. This is green and black with short grey stripes?

    okay, so I got a .7 reading from the sensor ground connection to negative battery post. But nothing came up on the ECU IAT pin to "hot" IAT plug connector. All the wiring looked good and it's surrounded in split loom. Should I try an locate a IAT plug connector from a junkyard and solder that in?
