What'd you do to your accord today?

Got my new Front lip Also my foglights (If anyone can give me any tips before I start cutting into my bumper that would be great) Totally inlove with my door panels but now I desperately need to get new seats and paint that area on my dash.

What'd you do to your accord today?

I did paint the entire bumper, because like you said it's more work and it's black so doesn't really matter. If it ever bothered me I could do what you did and just plastidip them. I don't think I will because like you mentioned I think the shiny black will look better.

Thank-you! I would only rattle can a front lip or something like that. I need to detail my car as well. It could actually use an entire respray but I'll hold out in that for a little bit

Yessir. My dad is actually spraying it for me. We have a nice compressor and he has an hvlp paint gun. (Cost like $15 at harbor freight) he's painted things before so I trust him. It's by no means professional but it's up to my standards especially since I'll be saving so much money and can have...

Painted hood and bumper on Tuesday? I think. I got some dust in the clear coat (Pretty impossible to avoid) pretty happy with it. I wet sanded it this morning and going to do another coat of clear on it. I prefinished doors as my first job that's why I have a little bit of knowledge. I know it's...

It probably isn't too hard. I did the 01-03 civic fogs on my sedan bumper so I have a little bit of experience. If I can't find a DIY I'll just make one if mine turns out okay.

Just ordered my new lip and fog lights. I can't wait for them to get here even though I'm pretty nervous to cut into a new bumper. If someone could provide a DIY link for the inspire fogs that would be great because I couldn't find one? Also painted the underside of the hood. It looks really...

    What to look out for?

Valve cover gasket is probably it. I just replaced it on the accord I bought last week. Took 10 min and cost me $10 online and took only a couple days to get to my house

Thank-you! When you're a single 17 year old male you really don't have anything better to spend your money on haha. I've wanted to do the coupe front end since I first got the car but I always wanted to do it the right way unlike most who just get the bumper and leave the hood gap. I debated for...

    DIY Paint door panels

I went to the paint store today. I picked up some more interior paint and also some paint for my new hood and bumper. I was looking through the SEM paint and this is what I see could be close to the tan. I don't have any tan accord interior so I can 100% on which one it is but it's gotta be one...

Thank-you! I can't wait either because I haven't had my rear door panels in my car for about 3 months now lol. The High School I go to is on spring break right now but I also go to college and they aren't on spring break so I still have to go to class. Tomorrow I don't have class so I might be...

    DIY Paint door panels

I see what you mean now haha. You get away with a different paint there then. The adhesion promoter I mentioned is the first picture in the thread, it's Bulldog Adhesion Promoter.

    DIY Paint door panels

I'm not sure. They probably have something really close and I'll be on the lookout to see if they do. If you can't find it from SEM you can use other paints as long as you use the adhesion promoter but with something like the door handles which are constantly being touched I don't know how they...

What'd you do to your accord today?

It's a very very thing foam pad. If it worked fine with your rear panels then it should be okay to do on your front. I didn't know anyone else had diamond stitch interior but that looks great! Now I'm even more excited to get mine done
