    Be patient and use craigslist. Make sure they fit before you get them. MEASURE! off set and bolt pattern spacing. What people say they are is usually different than what they actually are.

    Give the sub a push and see if it feels grainy or has high resistance like its seized. Might be a melted/damaged voice coil. If you replace the sub make sure you get one that matches the ohms of the amp. Good luck.

    So 12K front and 7K rear? Are there markings showing the actual spring rate anywhere on the spring? Its possible they put the wrong spring rate when you custom ordered. Either that, or its bottoming out somewhere.
