    98 with 3.0 question.

About 99% sure its a main relay. Up under the steering column. There is a way to check too. If you've driven the car and go inside a store for a bit and then come back out and its warmish outside, it'll do it. I grabbed a cold water bottle and held it next to it for a minute or so and it...

    New Transmission on the way.

You've got two trans mounts. Both on the drivers side down low. At least my 99 Did. The front motor mount also sort of acts as a trans mount also. But mine were gone when I pulled mine out.

    UPDATED: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA

Re: UPDATED with Wiring Issues: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA That's the only thing I didn't replace while the motor was out. I won't be surprised if its out. But its easy to get to. On another topic, my sensor came in. Plugged it in to see if it just needed to read voltage, no...

    UPDATED: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA

Re: UPDATED with Wiring Issues: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA I've got continuity. Both from the ECU and the gauge cluster. I had the ECU wire crimped into a connector from the gauge cluster. Nothing, this was when I drove it home. Then I tied the wires together from the gauge cluster...

    UPDATED: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA

Re: UPDATED with Wiring Issues: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA Figured I go ahead and update this because of the lack of posts: First off, it still doesn't rev over 2,000. So bummer there. Took the crankshaft pulley off, timing covers, belt and front cam gear off. Replaced the front cam gear...

    Accord V6 5 lug swap

In regards to decide what to do with the J30: 1.) If you plan on making power with it, just stop now. They sound good with I/H/E and thats about it. These are really not made to hold or make power. They are tanks though, just don't try to make a lot of power on them. I had mine for 225K, 75k...

Oh, even stiffer than the Tein's. You shouldn't rub with them at all.

    Wheel Fitment Thread

You are on Teins, you should be fine. I dropped my Teins all the way down on my TL's and never rubbed on them. Even when I had 235/45's on them.

What'd you do to your accord today?

Mine did this driving home from the garage where it was. I'm still saying crank sensor on my end, but I did get an O2 code. How far could you rev it up when this happened? I've got those wires left out also, because your wiring diagram told me that you didn't use them. I guess I could try...

What'd you do to your accord today?

Basically changed the timing belt on the J32 today, pulled it off and on different times, changed my front cam gear, pulled the crankshaft sensor and all that wiring. All while the motor was in the car on all of the mounts. I'm happy you can work around most of the stuff to get to what you need...

    UPDATED: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA

Re: UPDATED with Wiring Issues: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA Worked on the car to try to figure out the issues. Started by taking all the timing covers off, then the crank sensor. Tested the sensor and the wiring harness to the sensor, and they are both fine. Did find a bit of dirt in there...

    UPDATED: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA

Re: UPDATED with Wiring Issues: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA So I pulled the code and it's for the crankshaft position sensor, which is behind the timing covers and the crankshaft pulley. Get all that off, while the motor is in the car, and it's a brand new sensor, manual pulley, timing belt...

    UPDATED: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA

Re: UPDATED with Wiring Issues: Evan's Quest for a J32 6MT 6GA So the motor and trans are in the car and move under their own power. But I'm having issues: 1.) So I welded a stud on the shift linkage to prevent the gears being backward, but when I drove it, the gears were backward. Like...
