Re: 98 Accord Part Out Thread Im not positive on the amount of miles. I bought them used, and then put maybe 15,000 on them. My guess is about 50,000 miles total. swollen_cu has dibs.

I just recently traded in my 6thgen for an RX-8 (was a sad day...), so I have a bunch of parts laying around. I am local to the Atlanta Area and would prefer local pickup. Prices are without shipping. I will check on shipping price if buyer is serious. No Trades please. PM me. SKUNK 2...

    Rough Idle @ Startup

I'm going to... just trying to have some theories when I return since they didn't really know. Could be the cat, the one I have currently was put on at about 100,000 miles. The guy I took it to is more of a mechanic friend and not a true "honda technician". Trying to avoid doing unnecessary...

    Rough Idle @ Startup

98 Sedan 4 cyl Auto w/ ~150,000 miles So i've been having this issue for a couple of months now, and it is happening more often now, maybe 70% of the time. When I startup the car, it will idle very rough (not necessarily low in RPM but as if a cylinder isn't firing). It does this anywhere...

    Uneven Drop

I'm about 99% sure i didn't do that. I think it'd have been pretty hard to compress the rear springs down enough to fit in the front, and then the back of my car would look f'ed up too. I appreciate all the ideas keep them comin!!

    Uneven Drop

It is possible...probably should have done that. But the front springs looked identical before i put them on. You would think the springs would have to pass some sort of rigorous Skunk 2 quality control, lol I don't have coilover sleeves, otherwise i def. would just raise the drivers side...

    Uneven Drop

I'm curious if anyone has encountered/resolved this issue already. So, I've been riding on lowering springs (skunk2's) for about a year and half now. Ever since the very beginning the drop in the front has been uneven from side to side (AKA, my front passenger side sits about one inch higher...

    Topher88, 1998, Sedan, V6, EX (56k)

Re: Topher88, 1998, Murdered out Sedan, V6, EX (56k) ^ I think what bothers me about the black LED tails is how they have that chrome/silver around the edges. (I have the red/clear LED tails for that reason) I'd suggest maybe getting the red/clear ones and doing a really light tint job on...

99 accord 2.3L crunching noise when shift to R

Yup.... make sure you use your parking brake even on a slight hill. My car does the same "clunk" if i dont use the parking brake and shift into reverse. (even after getting a new tranny last year)

    Extremely Low Gas Mileage

My thought would be that his drive is so short that his engine never reaches optimal running temperature. That would cause his bad gas mileage. Only going 10 blocks or so he'd have just reached normal running temp by the time he arrives. When the engine isn't warm it guzzles gas. :coffee:

    I Had Open Heart Surgery

My dad got lasik a few years ago, went to the best place he could find in the Atlanta Area. He had very bad vision, and now he only needs a weak perscription of glasses. However, something f***ed up during the procedure and now his eyes do not produce tears. This means he has to put medicated...

whats a good setup for tokiko blues

I have skunk2's also with tokico blues, and its a little stiff, but handles great. If you just want the drop with a smooth ride i wouldn't recommend them. But if you want the handling, they're great.
