    High Mileage 6th Gens

I'm on my 4th transmission. I've gone through numerous sets of tires. I have an IACV issue I'm chasing. My door locks done always work with the FOB. My passenger door when it unlocks with either the FOB or the "unlock all" button makes this loud and annoying buzzing sound. My speakers don't work...

    Chasing an IACV Issue

I found a video on how to do a DIY smoke machine. I have almost everything I need to make this happen and can use it to figure out my leak source!

    Chasing an IACV Issue

I did the air silencer delete mod years ago and this issue has only popped up within the last two years. You reminded me that my intake tube from the box to the TB was cracked, but I replaced that as well. I've recently learned about a smoke test, but I don't have a smoke machine. If I were a...

    Chasing an IACV Issue

As the title says, I'm chasing an IACV issue. I have already: Replaced IAC valve with new Fixed a leak at the plate where brake booster hose meets intake manifold Ensured IM is torqued properly Despite having done the above, I still have high RPMs (stopped and in gear, like at a red light) and...

    Shock absorbers recommendation

I'm running the KYB AGX units and they work great. I like that they're adjustable in terms of stiffness, which is great for how I drive in the canyons and mountains.

    Cam gear seal thing

On the v6 cars, what is that gasket (and PN!) at the opposite side of the cam gear? The one that sits directly behind the EGR valve. And is there two identical ones, one for the front head and one for the rear head? I'd only imagine so...

Thread back from the dead. The 400k mark was broken at the end of December for DirtyGirl. In all this time she's the transmission rebuilt three times. The timing belt will be done along with the next oil change. She will be getting an external ATF cooler with the timing belt job. She needs new...

    Brake Upgrade Options

I'm interested in running OEM Honda 18" wheels from say an 8GA / 9GA sport, 18+ Civic sport, etc. I don't know what spec the Civic wheels are, but I'm sure the 8GA / 9GA wheels would work.

How can we get 6thgen more activity?

Ok, yeah. That I agree with. Modded 6GAs are few and far between. Nearly all of them are bone stock beyond window tint.

How can we get 6thgen more activity?

I'd beg to differ. I still see 6GAs all over the place. My other car, 1997 Thunderbird, you literally never see those on the roads anymore. That was an unpopular car. The main forum for it is a mainly the same 10 guys, myself included.

    Brake Upgrade Options

Thanks for the info! Next questions regarding these RL brakes: - Will they fit inside the 16" Stock wheels? - What wheel specs are needed for them to fit if the above answer is "no"?

    RR's '99 coupe EX-L

I wasn't telling you to do this, I was presenting it to you as an option. I was unaware of the vehicle inspection being so stringent where you are located. I'm curious though, would it still not pass inspection though? You are only modifying the stock fork. Unless the person doing the...

    RR's '99 coupe EX-L

The infamous "Boat Look" of these 6GAs when using Eibach springs, ProKit (1.5" drop) or Sportlines (2.5" drop). Over on DA I made a post spreading information on what had already been done on another forum several years prior in order to resolve the "Boat Look" on our 6GAs...
