Any Shops out there?
In the near future, I plan on doing the full CL-S swap (motor and tranny). Anybody know of any shops in the Pacific Northwest that have experience with that type of thing? There are plenty of Honda shops that I know of in Oregon, but a lot of them HATE working on Accords. I'm pretty handy, but I...- brava1maw

As some may know, my transmission failed. Or so I thought. It turned out that the tranny cooler within the radiator sprung a leak and flooded my trans with coolant. So, I got an external cooler, flushed the tranny several times and it seems to be back to normal. I've got a decent chunk of money...- brava1maw

Tranny Failure
Weirdest thing happened today. I haven't touched the Accord since it started slipping bad. I got in it today, started it and drove it around. It was a miracle! It drove fine! I don't expect it to last very long but I was surprised hahaha.- brava1maw

Tranny Failure
If I do just buy another car, how should I go about getting rid of this one? Just post it for sale and say it needs a new transmission? And what could I expect to get out of it? It's extremely clean.- brava1maw

Tranny Failure
Aside from the bad transmission now, the car still runs great and it only has one little dent on the trunk (underneath the spoiler of all places) . There isn't even a rip in the leather. And it hasn't been in any sort of accident. I guess I'll be getting some quotes next week and go from there...- brava1maw

It was a sad day today. My transmission started to have serious problems after 15 years in the family and 213k miles. It still moves, but it slips after 2.5k on the tach. Rear Strut removal
I'm putting new coilovers on my 98 Accord coupe and I have ran into some trouble. And yes, I did search for other threads. Tranny Problems (I think)
The tranny fluid is just a tad below the top dot, as well as the oil. My motor consumes a little oil, but I always keep an eye on it.- brava1maw

I rarely get on my car, I just had to get around somebody to get on the highway. After all, its above 212k, why bother lol. And I changed the fluid about 12k ago. Oil has been changed as well, about 1.5k ago.- brava1maw

I drove about 60 miles and stopped at an exit to get gas coming off the highway. As I got back on the highway, I realized that the rpms would hang at 5k and not shift until you left off the throttle. I know about the 5k limiter in park and neutral, but the engine would eventually get past 5k...- brava1maw

Weird Noises, etc.
A lot has happened today. First off, a dull humming is either coming from the motor or tranny that wasn't there before. Terrible MPG

In the last couple months, I've noticed that my V6 Accord has had a sharp decline in gas mileage.
