    Lightened OEM Crank Pulley?

I wouldn't try it myself, but that's not why I'm replying. I installed a Competition Clutch 12 lb flywheel with my clutch swap recently. That decreased the rotating mass behind my f23 by at least ten pounds, and I'm pretty confident that I'm not increasing the risk of damaging the engine...

    4x114.3 Brake Upgrade Options?

I have Prelude rotors and Integra tr calipers, stock rear disks, and parts store generic ceramic pads. I love it. Cheap upgrade, and stops like a slammed door.

    Stock clutch gave up...

I don't know for sure that it's a genuine clutch, but if it's a fake it's a damn good one. The seller doesn't look like a typical ebay scam artist either. The vendor's got almost 20,000 feedbacks given, and currently has nearly 4,000 product listed on ebay. From what I can see, it's all...

    Stock clutch gave up...

As for how it drives, the first surprise was when I pushed the pedal. It's amazing how light the spring is. It's going to get some getting used to. Seems to drive great, but I won't be in the car much for a couple of months. I'm loaning it to a family member. Very happy so far.

    Stock clutch gave up...

Yeah, I'll probably never get to the swap. I can't justify pulling a good running engine from my daily driver.

    Stock clutch gave up...

after only 214,000 miles. :favorites13: Sometimes it's good to have only 150 HP. It's getting an Exedy stage one ($100 delivered on ebay), Competition Clutch 12.4 lb lightweight steel flywheel ($117, ebay). If you can't easily mod an f23 for more power, there's other ways to get more from...

    H23a vtec with f20b tranny!!!

Forgive me for jumping into this discussion, but while we're on the subject of which manual transmission to use with the H23, I have a question: I've thought about an H23 with my stock accord manual transmission. I have read that the H22 will fall out of vtec with the long gears of the stock...

    H22 Swap

Great thread! Definitely the best 6th gen H22 swap thread that I've found, even with the loss of some photos. It also convinced me that the answer to whether it makes sense to do the H22 swap into my accord coupe is... e36! Looks like too much effort for a daily driver. Either that, or...

FS: 98 Sedan MT 4 cyl partout

I need a map light/sunglasses holder assembly. I don't know if that's a coupe only item or not.

    What's your mileage?

99 Coupe with 4/mt. Under 3000 lbs and a stick gets me pretty good mileage, even with >190,000 miles on the car. I have checked my odometer several times against two different GPS units, so I know that the mileage is accurate. I check mileage at every fill. That's a good way to monitor...

    6GA Suspension Diversity Poll

Re: 6GA Supsension Diversity Poll OEM here. In fact, the only non-OEM on my car is the oil filter. This thread is useful, but I would get a lot more out of it if there were more discussion on the differences between the more popular choices. I've had my 99 coupe (f23/mt) for 2 years, but...

    Gots to be a "G"

Very nice. I hate seeing these builds. It makes me want one more, but my 6th gen coupe is a daily driver. I'm going to apply for work in a town about 60 miles from here, so I think leaving the current f23/5 speed as is might be best. That drive could be a lot more fun though!

99 4-way flasher powers up the ignition

ok, tell me more. I know what a multiplexor is in principle, but don't know where to find this specific one. My Haynes manual shows the dimming circuit with a drivers multiplex control unit in the circuit.

Well, here's an interesting update. I don't have any dash lights. I'll check out the fuse tomorrow, but I suspect that won't be the problem.

99 4-way flasher powers up the ignition

Changed out the switches. Everything works normally now. What's weird is that the two panels look identical. The emergency flasher/clock assembly isn't exactly the same. I had to trim off some small tabs from the sides of the switch assembly to get them to fit into the space. It's also...

99 4-way flasher powers up the ignition

I'll try to swap the two switch assemblies. I got the original one to pop out of the panel. The clock and hazard switch are an assembly, and they just pop forward out of the panel. Then I tried to remove the assembly from the replacement panel. I couldn't get the plug loose from the hazard...

99 4-way flasher powers up the ignition

Really strange problem and searching got me nowhere. Some background: Like many of the 6th generation Accords with the non-climate controlled ac, my switch panel for the AC quit working. I tried 3 local you-pull it yards, then ordered one from the high-end recycler (who never came through...

I guess I'll jump in here with my second post. I've got a 99 coupe, f23 mt with 189,000 miles. Still pulling down 30 mpg on every tank until the last one. It's getting hot here and I've started running the AC. Last tank: 29.3 mpg. I'm doing about a 50:50 mix of highway and town miles.
