Looking at buying a 6th gen coupe

I was going to look at it again tonight as it's actually plated now, but he emailed me this morning to say it was sold. I can only assume he got something near his asking price of $7400 as the car has only been listed for a week. Oh well. Thanks again for the replies.

Looking at buying a 6th gen coupe

Yeah, I looked at that as well. I don't think KBB is a good indicator of what people are actually paying for cars though. Looking at buying a 6th gen coupe

Well, when someone lists a car for over 7k I kind of assume they are looking to get something in that ballpark out of it. With 71k miles on it, it's definitely below other accords for sale. The interior is in above average condition, but it's not immaculate, nor does the car have complete...

Looking at buying a 6th gen coupe

Well I found this maintenance schedule which indicates timing belt changes every 168km or 7 years. Since it has been more than 7 years, it's probably due. I would be comfortable doing the timing belt/water pump myself though. Thanks for the replies so far.

Looking at buying a 6th gen coupe

I'm in Saskatchewan, and the current owner is the 2nd owner. I will find out more about work that's been done though I am fairly sure the timing belt has not been done. I will find a maintenance schedule prior to meeting him again and see what was done relative to what should be done.

Looking at buying a 6th gen coupe

Hi folks, As the title states, I am currently looking a 6th gen coupe that's for sale near me. From what I could gather reading here, the primary fault of this gen accord is the trans on v6 models. Luckily, this coupe is a 5spd. I am wondering about his asking price, though, which is high for...
