    Odd dash light/brake light issue

If it's your e-brake light check your brake fluid level and if that is fine check the resistance of the master cylinder reservoir cap. It should be something around 20 M-Ohms when empty and 6-7 Ohms when full. I had this same problem recently and it ended up being the cap. Found one at a...

Hello / Headlight Restoration/Retrofit (Update 9-19 pictures added)

Re: Hello / Headlight Restoration (Update 9-10) Sad. With this in mind though, I recommend that anyone unhappy with the lighting output of the stock 9006 bulbs consider this option. The amount of focused light output is incredible compared to the stock bulbs. 9012 bulbs are also an option...

Hello / Headlight Restoration/Retrofit (Update 9-19 pictures added)

Re: Hello / Headlight Restoration (Update 9-10) Thanks man. Surprisingly easy too. The projector is the MH1 Version 5.0. I've never used any older versions, but apparently it is much improved. I think the light output shows it too. It is leaps and bounds better than the halogen bulbs...

Hello / Headlight Restoration/Retrofit (Update 9-19 pictures added)

Re: Hello / Headlight Restoration (Update 9-10) ejreams.....you ever get your headlights cleaned up? Also, thanks for the help in the brake light situation. Your suggestion on the fluid level eventually led to me checking the cap sensor/float. The cap worked but the female connector had...

    Headlights Light Change

Agreed. I put some HIR bulbs in my fiancee's 98 and they were noticably brighter than halogens. Still weren't good enough for me, so I ended up going retrofit....but still, for $40 for a pair and about 5 minutes of work trimming a tab, they make a big difference...

    Tail Light Reflector Repair

In my effort to try to repay the 6th Gen. forum for all the help they’ve given me, I present to you number 2 in the list of DIYs that I am doing to my fiancée’s 98 sedan. My first thread, restoring headlights, included a massive list of things that need to be done to the vehicle. I started...

Hello / Headlight Restoration/Retrofit (Update 9-19 pictures added)

Re: Hello / Headlight Restoration So, checked all the fluids and all good. Coolant on the overflow tank was right at the min mark, but the car hadn't been driven in hours. Next check is the switch itself. On another note, taillight fix was today's accomplishment, look for a DIY coming...

Hello / Headlight Restoration/Retrofit (Update 9-19 pictures added)

Re: Hello / Headlight Restoration Thanks for the insight Jephu. Unfortunately it's the e-brake light that is on. Worst case scenario it's the sensor and I've seen replacment sensors online for <$10. Hopefully ejreams is right and it's just low fluid. Good luck with the rear strut bolt...

Hello / Headlight Restoration/Retrofit (Update 9-19 pictures added)

Re: Hello / Headlight Restoration Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check that tonight when I get home. Unfortunately the end link will have to wait until November. Long term travel for work/no garage or tools FTL. At least she (both my woman and her car) is (are?) here with me. I...

Hello / Headlight Restoration/Retrofit (Update 9-19 pictures added)

Re: Hello / Headlight Restoration I actually did not know that about the e-brake light. I'll have to take a look at that this afternoon. The weird thing is the light is on ~80% of the time but randomly goes off, which seems to be an electrical thing. But I'll certainly check the fluids...

Hello / Headlight Restoration/Retrofit (Update 9-19 pictures added)

Hey guys. First post on the forum but I've been lurking on here for a bit. I'll give you a bit of a backstory on myself and the car. I drive a 2005 RSX Type S. My fiancée drives the 98 Accord LX. She just recently moved in with me, so maintenance on the Accord has fallen on me...
