    Just be ready for them to want to total it out. Yes you will get a check for the car and then you can buy it back but for the body work and paint it will be up there price wise. Just be ready for it bud.

    you have to be careful and you must be prepared for them to want to total the car out. A paint job alone can be enough to total a car.

    You would have to pull the tranny out to properly weld it. Youd never get good penetration that would last and you could never stop the leak long enough to clean the area and weld on it without getting crazy contamination and porosity which would end up failing. Not to mention if i am right...

    Proportion Valve Issue

    I don't think you will need a different proportioning valve. Should be able to just change the lines over. Ive never done anything as far as drum to disc conversion on these cars but i have done it on others and it just uses the same proportioning valve.
